Hello!! My name is Sami Oms, I’m based in Vancouver, Canada. I’m originally from Brazil. I’ve been in Canada since 2010, now working as a Compositing Supervisor/Lead in the VFX industry.
I’ve been in the industry since 2011 and have worked in a variety of projects from TV, Film, Advertisement, in projects like, A Minecraft Movie, Kalki 2898 AD, The SpiderWick Chronicles, Warrior Nun, Westworld, Gotham, Super-Man vs Batman, Godzilla, Hunger Games and multiple other projects.
I love to take pictures of things, since I got my first camera in 2013 I’ve been on a beautiful journey looking through a piece of glass at amazing locations and scenarios. My favorite things to take photos of are either nature in any kind of sense, and I really like to look for patterns, shapes, colors in the city. I find it thrilling to be able to freeze a moment in time.
